Lots of reason for hope, I would imagine, after these past couple of weeks, lots of reason for doubt based on stuff that preceded that.

Aaron Rogers' numbers the other night against Miami were 23 of 27 for 224 yards, two touchdowns, no picks.

Over the past two weeks, both of those, of course, wins.

He was 46 of 61 for 508 yards, four passing touchdowns, and an 80% completion rate.

Now, I've seen some historical data that's been researched since then about how at age 42,

he's the oldest starting quarterback in NFL history

to complete this percentage of passes to get that amount of yardage and stuff like that.

And that's missing the point.

It's missing the points spectacularly because neither he nor the Steelers get bonus points for that.

Out on the field.

What matters is that regardless of his age, this is what's coming out of that right hand.

This and really something that's just a feel or a vibe, whether it's real or not, doesn't matter.

When it comes to this sort of thing, it's all a perception.

And that's the, this is Rogers' time. This is when, historically, going back to the Green Bay days, obviously, he's been at his best.
