Good Monday morning, and yes, it's good and it's a morning of the damn Kovachvich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports,

sweep because there's clearly just nothing that our city can do to top Philadelphia in

anything other than, you know, having nicer people. Not even Paul Skeens could avoid this sweep.

He was hit for five runs on six hits and a walk over five innings. He did strike out seven,

but he also gave up a Bryce Harper bomb, a couple other doubles. The bats never even came close to coming through with anything.

Five total hits, one for extra bases. And if all of that wasn't a bummer enough, for everyone,

Ryan O'Hern was placed on the 10-day I-L,

but he'll actually be out around a month with a quad injury.

So, yeah, well, there's still a game over 500.

They're not going to lose today since they're not playing today. After that, it's three in

St. Louis, three in Toronto. And things do need to get straightened out. Now, some of that's

going to be intangible. That's just how these things go. To a man, the players in that clubhouse

were stressing team togetherness, team toughness, and a belief that
