I want one thing really clear.

And I want to take a bit of a pause from the general discourse here and attempt to make the really bold case that, no, I'm not an idiot.

No, I don't hate math.

And no, I'm not some kind of weirdo who opposes analytics in sports.

And I think at this point, the year 2025, you've

almost got to be to some extent, either a weirdo or just unaware of the legitimate and

largely positive impact that analytics have had. Everyone is smarter for them. Everyone is better prepared for them.

Everyone has to use their noggin a little bit more, regardless of the sport. And I'm okay with all

of that. Always have been, always will be. And I began with this mindset a long time ago
