All the stuff that Ben Charington talked about in the now, I guess, already infamous press conference he had a couple weeks ago.

The one that got the most attention, and understandably so, was when he told everyone with a straight face that, quote, we're winning more games, end quote, even though they won 76 this year and 76 last year.

There was something else in there, though.

Something else in that session that stood out to me, actually way more than that. Good morning to you you. Good Friday morning. I'm Dan Kovachovich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports. and Derek Shelton would be, quote, accountable together, end quote, in 2025. He went on to say how exciting that was and something, something else to try to

couch it, but I don't know of another way to interpret that beyond those guys being told, meaning

Charrington and Shelton,

when or else.

Now, we can't know that because neither Bob

Nutting nor Travis Williams has spoken yet.

Unlike other situations across

Major League Baseball in which teams

failed and didn't fail anywhere near as much as these guys just did,

there's been not a syllable from either nutting or Williams.

No accountability of their own.

No communication with the people who pay the bills there, meaning you.

No tweet, no letter, no...

Nothing. Zero.

So all any of us on the outside have is to pick apart like vultures every syllable that

Charrington spoke.

And those syllables that I just read to you, I have a feeling
