happy transfer portal day, Max. Guys, I've just been sitting in a chair all day, staring at

spreadsheets and databases. Hopefully you've been having a little more fun than I have. Uh,

have we? Yesterday was rough. I lost 300 bucks on the way back up to my room uh in a video poker machine

um so that was the highlight of my day you couldn't just have a human deal you some cards

they have lots of those here i just was like right next to my hotel room uh elevator and it was

i thought you're gonna say it like thought of your pocket. But no, it just fell right into a machine.

It fell out of the machine. But I don't even know I'm on this show, so I'm just going to let Max cook. So show some respect to the Portal King. Well, no, no. Ari this before we went live, Max, is this wilder than any national signing day that you've

ever seen? Or is it different? Um, I think it's, man, it's, it's, it is similar in kind of a flipped way, right? I mean, I think that usually on signing day, you kind of know who's on every list. And there's a couple surprises per class maybe and a bunch of uncommitted guys. This is, I mean, what are we going to start calling this? Is this just, you know, is this portal day? Transfer portal day. I mean, you know, it's a signing day. But. Well, the thing that's different about this is this just you know is this portal day i mean you know it's a signing day uh but well the thing

that's different about this is that a national signing day players are going to a program on this day

they're leaving one yeah um so that's that's what's kind of the most interesting but the question

that i wanted to ask you max because i saw your your your story, you know, feed and everything that there are 500 Power 5 names in there today. Do you think that you

could whittle down that list to 85 and create a national title team with the amount of talent

that's in there? I think by the end of the month, you definitely could. Yeah. I think that we like today is a lot of, you know, because of the way that the nature of the windows and stuff, guys have been locked out from making this move until December 5th. And they thought that that, you know, the NCAA thought that that would be better because guys, players can't just leave 365 days a year you have a

little bit more understanding going into signing day of what you need and what you what you lost um

so like today was a lot of players who tweeted in the past month or so um that they're they're moving on

and waiting until December 5th to do this and then

there's a lot of new ones a lot of surprise ones today but like yeah I think so I mean you
