Welcome to the NFL fantasy football podcast, where we're taking our names out of the running to be the Jaguars next head coach. I'm Marcus Grant alongside Michael F. Florio. Producer Justin is at the controls. Of course, on this Thursday, as we get ready for the divisional weekend. We will give you some of our DFS picks for the weekend as well. Also, we'll kind of hit you to a playoff

fantasy format that at least I was unfamiliar with, but seems kind of cool. So we'll talk about that

a little bit later on. But that and some more stuff to chat about. But Florio, it is

divisional weekend. We were talking before the show. You are, you're planning to make your first

trip to Vegas very soon.

Are you excited? I am. I haven't booked anything yet, but my sister's going to Vegas next month,

and I figure, hey, it's so close. Like, I can go meet up with her for a couple of days, but she's

going for like six days. And you and many other people have told me like two days more than enough.

That's far too long. Yeah. That's that's about four days too many in reality. So good luck to

her there. I will tell you that look, I know it's a four-hour drive. It's cheap to get in the car

and drive. I will warn you that if you do take that route, though, once you leave sort of the L.A. metro area, it is a pretty miserable drive through the desert. There's nothing there. And the other part of it that fools you is you'll get to a point where you can sort of see Vegas off in the distance and you'll think, hey, we're almost there. And then you're still driving for another like 45 minutes because there's nothing else around it.

So you see it from a long ways out and then it takes you a while to get there.

So I, if you decide to drive, just be aware of that.

Randomly enough, I've never actually been to Vegas, but I've driven through it because when I drove

back home this summer to New York, I drove through Vegas. And my first day that I planned out was

15 hours of driving. So I got to Vegas in like three and a half hours. And I was like,

oh, this is a breeze. But I'm sure when that is the destination, it is not nearly as quick as it seems.

I'm guessing you probably have never seen the movie Swingers.
