And welcome back to the Wolverine Live on John Borton here with Tom Crawford, and we are coming to you tonight, talking about a sport that is still a few months away, but you know you're ready for it.

You know that it's going to be one of those seasons where you really can't talk enough about it early on. And that's

exactly what we're going to do tonight. We're going to talk Michigan football. And Tom Crawford

is the perfect guy to talk about it with, especially given the subject of this evening's

conversation.

A couple weeks ago, we talked with our buddy out of PA Sports Network,

Jed Donahue, about Penn State extensively.

Last week we talked wall-to-wall, Ohio State.

And now there's another rival on the docket that would be Michigan State.

And of course, Tom Crawford hails from East Lansing, Michigan. And Tom, you live,

stones throw away from the Brezlin you uh you uh intermingle with uh with no lack of

spartans and uh i want to call on your expertise you were on uh press past the other night talking

about michigan michigan state we're going to do it at length here tonight.

Yeah, I love talking about Michigan, Michigan State, because it's near and dear to my heart.

It's the most important athletic event that happens in the entire year to me,

which Michigan fans will, like, roll their eyes.

Like, who gives a rip about Michigan State?

I mean, that used to be the kind of reaction

I got. Maybe not so much lately. I think Michigan State has gotten Michigan attention in an

angst kind of way. And the tunnel incident last year certainly added, you know, put a little

gasoline on the fire and other things and just

the way this rivalry has gone. But yeah, I, I'm pressed past with Jack Gabbling and Rico
