Leaving the burial chamber, the king's soul and the funerary priests were departing the duat.

Physically, the burial chamber is separated from the other rooms by a short low passage. This tiny corridor is also decorated with texts,

texts that follow and respond to the burial chamber. In the burial chamber we saw Eunice awaken from death, take stock of his

body, and then take catalogue of the offerings, as item upon item were given up for the nourishment

of Eunus and the gods. Now, in the small passageway, we find texts that continue those themes. They have their own content,

but they definitely build on what came before. Kind of a sequel to the burial chamber passages.

As you duck down and leave the burial chamber, you are heading east. Entering the passage,

you will find hieroglyphs on your left to the north and your right

to the south. We'll start with the north. We begin with a section called the Reversion of Offerings,

Wejib Chetepu-Netcher. What this means is the return of offerings. After they have been used in the rituals, when the priests

were done making their offerings to the king, or Unas making offerings to the gods, the items

themselves still remained. Those items would then return to the one making the offerings for their own personal use.
