Amin, this weekend, it was a Jewish holiday, so I couldn't accompany you. but you made a trip to Springfield, Massachusetts,

I'm told. What pre-tale could be there?

I'm not only Springfield, Massachusetts, I also went to Uncasville, Connecticut, because the

Basketball Hall of Fame celebration spans two days, two different locations. The first night

is at the Mohegan Sun Casino, and that's where the orange jackets

are bestowed upon all the honorees. We also get the Kurt Gowdy Award winners and the Lifetime

Achievement Award winner. They get to give their speeches on that night. Then Sunday, the festivities

move up to Springfield, and that's where we got the speeches. That's where we got the pomp

and circumstance.

And it was a magical weekend, you know, speaking of someone who cares about this game deeply,

cares about basketball deeply and fancies himself a historian, a student in the game,

that's like heaven, man, to be there with all those legends, these great players, some of whom you kind of see from afar, like, oh, that's so-and-so.

And then some of whom are people I know, like, Tracy McGrady. I'm like, oh, that's cool. So,

you know, it was just, it was an amazing weekend. And I can't wait for next year. I don't even know who's going to be going in,

but I hope it's someone I know. What a beautiful earnest answer from you, I mean, can you tell

our listeners about something exciting that happened or do you want that to be? So I'll tell you

one story you guys know I won't say on air because I want to, I to maintain a certain I want to see it first of all people notice, right?

But the other one I can say. So for whatever reason I was sitting my seat. It's a sign seating. It's not like just come and grab the seat wherever. It's a sign seating. My seat was directly behind Magic Johnson. And to the right of me was James Worthy.

And to the left of me was Rachel Nichols.

So obviously Michael Cooper is going to the Hall of Fame.

There's a lot of shots of Magic who was the number one cheerleader.
