On the show today, News, listener questions, and in our main segment, Jim gives us part four of five on the history of the Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's Hollywood studios.

Let's get started by bringing in the man who says that Push, spelled backwards, means

pull.

So the whole Push Pull thing, isn't it kind of the equivalent of the buttered toast scenario to the effect of you

approach a door and if you push it it's going to be a pole in much the same way that

whether or not your toast falls butter side up depends on the value of the carpet you're standing on.

That's exactly what my life is.

I was at I was at MoMA this last weekend with Laurel and we were going through the Calder Exhibit of

Mobels and the door to exit the exhibit was a pool door which is odd because in the United States normally all exit

doors should be pushed so I tried pushing on the door and that didn't work and

the woman behind me said it's a pool door and I said oh because the next thing I was going to try

is lifting from the bottom and she actually snorted laughter. That's great.

great.
