something topical and tropical that just came to me. And I have Tori from Ready to Be Petty on

with us to talk about Survivor. Tori, how you doing? I'm doing so well. Thanks so much for having me.

Well, I needed to have you because we are doing an episode on Survivor, but this last season was the first season I ever watched. I know. I'm just so obsessed with the show. And I had to have you on because obviously we've been friends for a couple years now. You've come on for plenty of episodes before. You are, what's the name name are you like a survivor head like a

tribalist like what do you call yourselves we call ourselves survivors super fans okay and yeah

i've watched the show since it's inception since season one when i I, Since 2000? Yes, girl.

Yes.

There are some seasons that like when I was in university like yeah,

I wasn't watching Survivor.

Like I had a life.

I was I was partying on Thursdays.

I think it used to come out on Thursdays in like the 2010s or whatever.

Anyways, yeah, there's some seasons that I didn't watch when they aired, but I've basically

gone back and watched all of them. And it's so fun being a survivor fan in this era because

with them going on Netflix, I feel like we got a whole new crowd of

fans. And then like, it's just so funny to me that like you started watching this year. And you're

obsessed with that. I was like, where were you? Years ago, we could have been talking about this for

years. Well, I think the main reason, and I think that's going to be a fun episode because you've got the lore and I've got like the newcomers perspective. Yeah. I, you know, my friends were like here in Denver, they're like, oh my God, we watch Survivor every time. Like, and everybody kept saying to, they're like, Shannon, you would be so good on Survivor and I'm like no I would I was

thinking like I can't even do a push up you know but then because I just assumed Survivor I knew it's like

people on an island they compete people get voted out stuff like that and I think I naively thought

you get voted out based on the competitions and how you perform in them.

Right. Right.
