Summary

It is such a struggle to look in the mirror and see someone else, a completely different person from your reality. As Shaun goes through his new fitness journey, he noticed that such an issue can get overlooked. Someone with BDD can obsess with their body image for three to eight hours a day, and although this is not a treatment, Shaun would love to help discuss the reality around it and help overcome some of those tough moments for those who do struggle. He has also asked for help from three people who have struggled with body dysmorphia to share their stories. Micky discusses her struggle through hearing she was not good enough as a competitor and finally finding self-love. Elias talks about the difficulties of comparing ourselves to others, and Carly gets into the negative talk that can be instillment at a very early age.  Follow along @trustandbelievepod on Instagram for all of the latest updates!
