in the plans and the purposes that god has for your life now I know that purpose and calling and

you know what is god called me to do when place me on this earth to do is one of life's biggest

questions that we all ask that we all ponder that we all existentially stress over at some point

right you know we ask the questions what is my purpose what is god called me to do what is he

created me to do and if that's a question that's on your heart today in this season my goal in

this episode at least is to provide you with the truth of scripture the peace of god and confidence

and knowing who you are who you are and what you have been called and equipped to do when it comes

to our purpose I think that it can be separated into two camps all right we have identity and then we

have calling you know what is my purpose is definitely a question in regard to identity you know

who am I why was I created what's my meaning but it's also a question of calling what was I created to

do what mission does god have me on you see there are two types of calling we have our initial calling

or our primary calling and we have our secondary calling which is more so linked to our vocational

calling one deals with what we have been called to do out of our identity in Christ and the other

might more so have to do with job and skill and talent and we will explore those things here in a

moment but we can only confidently do those things if we know who we are I think we need to reframe

or at least restructure the question of purpose and identity by first asking god who have you created

me to be before we ask god what have you created me to do we need to ask who have you created me to be
