Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

I'm Andrew Womack and today I'm continuing to share on the keys to staying full of God.

And I tell you, this is so important. I've had so many friends of mine who start good in ministry and you know, life is just hard.

And if you're a minister and it doesn't have to be a full-time minister, if you're just a Christian and you're out to love God and to make him known and to share him with other people, you've got a big target drawn on you.

Satan comes against you to steal away the Word and there is going to be opposition and fight in the Christian life.

I often tell people that if you never run into the devilish because you're both headed in the same direction.

If you're seeking God, you're going to have things come against you.

And I'm saying this just to give thanks unto the Lord. I'm not saying it to praise me or pat me on the back.

But I'm saying that for 54 years is where God touched my life and by the grace of God.

There was a brief period of time when I was in Vietnam that I didn't understand anything and I went through some bouts of...

I don't know that I'd call it depression, but I was just so in love with God. It was more like, God, I can't experience you here on the earth the way that I want to.

And I was praying and asking God to kill me and take me home, not out of depression, but out of just love for the Lord.

I wanted the Lord so much. I just figured I couldn't have the experience with God that I really desired and had a taste of in this life, so I was ready to go home.

So anyway, I struggled with my emotions there for a while, but I could say that at least over 50 years since God began to teach me some of the things that I'm sharing with you.

I have not been depressed or discouraged. And I know that there's people that when I say things like that, they just come out and say, you're a liar.

It's not true. Well, that's my testimony and I'm sticking with it. I'll have other people come out and say, so you're condemning anybody who's got anything discouraged and you're saying something's wrong with them.

No, I'm not saying that, but I am saying that you don't have to be discouraged. You don't have to be depressed.

And I just praise God that He has shown me these things. And even though I've had lots of depressing things happen, I've had things happen to me that if I was to just share with you some of the problems that I've had, I believe I could probably top most of your problems.
