Documentarian Colin Hoback maxed out his credit cards in his quest to unmask the person behind the pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory.

His dream was that Adam McKay's team would produce his series, but because his footage was sensitive and his subjects were very internet savvy,

Hoback needed a safe way to let them sample the goods. Of course, they're like, okay, who's this guy,

who says that he knows who's behind Q&N? And he's got this mysterious, secure iPad that he needs

to drop off. We did the exchange in the street and gave him the iPad, and they were like, holy

we have to do this.

Hoback joins us from the undisclosed location where he moved to finish his new HBO

Mac series, Q Into the Storm. He tells us about spending three years circling the globe

on a shoestring budget and meeting people who dwell in some of the darkest corners of the internet,

all in an attempt to pinpoint the identity of Q.

Hi there.

So, Endeavor, which tried to do an IPO in 2019 and had to pull this IPO at the last minute.

And this was the quest for the big payday to take this agency and the other things that Endeavor owns, not just William Morris Endeavor, but sports and fashion properties, a whole assemblage of stuff, to take it, sell it to stockholders and get a huge payout for themselves.

That did not go well last time.

They were not happy with the valuation.

And really the day before, late in the day,

they said forget it.
