Now, normally, when you're headed to an unusual place and you reach out to strangers to request interviews, you either hear nothing back or you receive a series of follow-up questions and then if you're lucky you get a very cautious yes.

On St. Helena, not only did everyone we reached out to say yes

almost immediately, but one of them,
