As the announcer of this show, I sometimes ask myself, to what shall I compare Eric?

May. But not Aaron. I'll tell you nothing shakes this guy. And now here he is, wearing green

leotards and a gestures coxcomb, Eric Mataxis. Exiton, stage left. Hey folks, welcome to the Eric

Mattaxis show. Kind of a sad day in America, uh, not kind of a sad day. Sad day. Some terrible things have been happening

in the country. I don't need to tell you. It's hard to avoid many terrible things, but the most

recent terrible thing was the killing of George Floyd. We all know how horrible that is. But it seems to me that a number of people

have hijacked what were peaceful demonstrations against the death, the killing of George Floyd.

And in doing so, they have been looting, burning, stealing, potentially killing.

We're not quite clear on whether this one individual who was brutally beaten has died.

Cops have been targeted.

And it seems to me that these activities desecrate the memory of George Floyd, who was a Christian,

and that Antifa people, white people, violent people, have hijacked what was once a movement of dignity, noble figures like

Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., Jackie Robinson, and so many others would be the first

to be horrified by the actions of what are mobs. These are not

peaceful demonstrators. Many, I mean, of course, there are peaceful demonstrators, but there are

also mobs, looters, people committing crimes who desecrate the memory of George Floyd and who desecrate

the fight for civil rights and equality for blacks in this country.

And it is absolutely heartbreaking to see this politicized in this way.
