Summary

Patricia Greenberg was born in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. She remembers being, in her words, a “chubby unathletic kid” growing up. Growing up with siblings that were active and athletic, she was interested in “Suzie Homemaker” type activities. Patricia liked to cook and play with her dolls with very little interest in being active or athletic. Attending college as a dental student, she was required to take a home economics class and fell in love with diet and nutrition. She discovers running as a way to improve her life and really gets involved in the marathon running community where she makes a number of lifelong friends. Patricia has now completed 20 marathons and 115 half marathons.

According to Patricia: “I have a passion for making healthy living accessible to everyone and sharing the secrets to a healthy life.

As the host of a weekly show that teaches people how to live well and comfortably into old age, I believe that everyone deserves access to top quality life guidance so they know how to best maintain their health and an understanding about what’s happening inside and outside of them.

Passionate about wellness for life, I have completed 20 marathons and 115 half marathons, and now in my 60’s I participate in the sport of tower climbing, having conquered buildings all over the country.

Personally, I am married with a grown daughter, and I love to read, hosting a book club each month, and knit scarves to donate to individuals and charities in need.

A lot of people ask me how I got to this point, and the answer is to continue to learn. Always be a student of the world.”

1:03.7	all the way up to today. And then I want to talk about the amazing things you're doing with your cookbooks, and just the way that you live your life as a leader in the fit gourmet industry, right? I just

1:22.0	there, right, your journey. So let's start with where you were born.
1:26.4	So I was born in Long Island, New York. I'm from Oyster Bay and just, again, there's so much to tell in 63 years I'm 63 I'm very proud of my age I tell everybody how old I am because you're absolutely right the journey is the most interesting part and the fact that we're all here is a
1:44.8	blessing and a wonderful thing to be able to share that with other people so I was born in
1:49.2	Oyster Bay, Long Island and I grew up in a you know idyllic suburban area and one thing about my
1:57.2	childhood is I was a very chubby unathletic kid and I was in the shadow of older siblings who were very athletic, very academically adept.
2:07.0	And I was Susie Homemaker from day one.
2:09.0	You know, I like to play with my dolls, I like to cook.
2:12.0	To me, athletics was making spaghetti for everybody so the fact that I'm
2:17.6	here doing what I'm doing now which we'll get to is astounding.
2:20.8	So throughout that I was the kind of kid that was a floater. I was friends with everybody. I was
2:26.3	friends with the academic kids, the greasers, the jocks, whatever terminology you want to call it nowadays.
