Did your parents have any weird rules when you were a kid?

Or did you have friends whose parents had weird rules?

You're like, what the hell?

Well, I saw people talking about rules that parents had,

mostly their parents, some of them that were talking

about their friends' parents.

But like, this one, someone claimed they witnessed

that a mom told her kid not to cover their mouth

when they coughed or sneeze because it would get

your hands dirty.

So to me, this is the kind of thing like,

if your parents ever said something that you found out

later was totally wrong or untrue,

it's that sort of thing.

And I know I had those.

I know there were those things,

but it's just hard to remember off the top of my head.

One person said that he wasn't allowed to use the word fart,

which I definitely had friends whose parents

were very strict about the language.

My words, yeah.

Couldn't say fart.
