Studios. Just got off the plane from Newark, where I flew out of, and guess what? I'm ready to talk about football with you guys

Again, what a win for the Minnesota Vikings over the New York Giants. I feel like that win alone has just taken a jolt of energy into the Minnesota Vikings fan base that they so badly needed after

J.J. McCarthy got hurt because it felt like when McCarthy got injured

that it was going to take not just a win over the New York Giants, but a decisive win and a win where everyone

could get excited about the next week in order, like a win that was convincing enough to be able to talk yourself into

this will be a good game against the San Francisco 49ers to get rolling on this season I

think it was so much of a gut punch for the Vikings when they lost

J.J. McCarthy and for Vikings fans losing J.J. McCarthy for the season, that the last couple of weeks of training camp, the vibe was very different among you folks

versus what it was before. It seemed like every time we would have a chat and everybody that I talked to that I know who are Vikings fans

it always kind of circled back to the same thing go yeah this team could be interesting but you know I mean

losing McCarthy which of course you know was quite a gut

punch for everybody to not have j. j McCarthy but it didn't mean that the Vikings

suddenly had to go oh and 17 they were going to run out a lot of very good

players and to go out and have a defensive performance like that to see the players that they brought in
