When John Starks dunked over Michael Jordan towards the tail end of game two of the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals, it became an iconic moment.

There were posters everywhere.

You know, kids put that poster on their wall of John Starks, creating a poster on Michael Jordan and Horace Grant, but it's Michael Jordan.

Yeah.

And what I've always had an issue with that moment is that they lost the series. And I'm pretty consistent about this. Like when it comes to the Mets, the Indy Chavez catch, I have a very tough time celebrating because they lost the game and they lost the series. Right. Now granted, the next won the game. Okay, I acknowledge that. But they then lost the next four. So it's tough in my mind. and I've always thought this way. And whenever I said it, it's like, ah, you're being a hater to celebrate a moment in a series loss. Right. I was thinking you were just going to talk about the aesthetics and the execution of the dunk. They're beautiful. Right. And I agree. Like the aesthetics of Michael Jordan trying to stop you and little John Starks dunking over him.

Like, I admit it's awesome.

Right.

But again, I can't get over the fact that they lost the conference finals.
