Let it rip. It is a new mentality that we're going to talk about today and many countries are deciding to let COVID rip because they realize that the lockdowns and vaccine mandates are not going to beat this virus.

Now, before you celebrate this moment, all right, as some sort of victory for freedom, stop. Many conservatives are getting this wrong. They're not conceding that they got it wrong. They're just hitting the pause button on their dictatorship until after the elections that they know they're going to lose if they don't start to allow you to get back to normal at least for a little bit.

Now, I'm going to explain more about that in a moment, but there's also another issue a little bit later we're going to talk about and that is doctors in California are now being threatened that if they do not go with basically one protocol to treat COVID patients if they go outside of that and they go outside of advocating for mass mandates.

Not only will they get fired from their current employer, but the medical board will take away your medical license so that you can work nowhere literally destroying a doctor's life.

All right, let's get to that let it rip mentality that many countries are moving forward with. So countries are saying we got it wrong.

We got it wrong. It's destroying our economy. People are becoming angry. They're coming to press. The lockdowns aren't working. The mass mandates aren't working. The vaccine mandates aren't working. Australia has decided to let it rip.

And now all people are criticizing this idea also the UK has decided to let it rip. In fact, there's a lot of countries right now that are saying let it rip, including Denmark.

Denmark has just joined England, Ireland and other ones announcing dramatically pulling back on COVID-19 restrictions within the country.

Now, is this something we should be doing in America? Not just yes, but hell yes, because it is very clear you cannot vaccinate your way out of this problem.

Now, the question becomes what's the media going to do and how is the media going to handle having to basically back pedal big time to support this idea after they've been the ones and, you know, declaring that you, if you're unvaccinated or public enemy number one.

Now, seeing nearly a million new cases in this country every day because of the Omicron variant in Australia.

Cases aren't just over 100,000 today, much smaller country, obviously, but that country's approach to Omicrons, the surge. It's raising eyebrows as this headline notes, quote, Australia has decided to let COVID rip.

Is that a good idea? I want to bring in Dr. Bernard Ashby, a Miami cardiologist in Florida State lead for the committee to protect health care.

So, Dr. Ashby, let's start there. I mean, the story notes that while cases are surging in Australia, this is a holding the line.

They're allowing the virus to circulate in communities. Australia's Prime Minister declared it's possible to live with the virus.

Their approach, different from our approach. Is that an approach we should consider Dr. Ashby?

So, Australia's circumstances are different from the US in a number of ways, but under any circumstance, letting a virus rip through a population is never a good idea.

And I'll tell you why. All right, there we go. So, down there, say, well, don't do it. This is America propaganda for you, right? NBC News isn't a good idea. No, it's never a good idea.

It's never a good idea to do this. All right, let's go back to the other countries are basically saying screw it. We've tried and we can't win.
