All right, we can't wait any longer.

Maybe you won't be able to hear it.

But life can surely be ironic, because yesterday I had the naive thought that because the weather

had turned cold, I wasn't going to have to contend with the usual lawnmower sounds coming in

on a Sunday afternoon into the attic.

That nobody is going to be out there mowing their lawns when it's this cold,

so I didn't have to try to get it done earlier in the day.

I could have a leisurely morning and come here in the afternoon

and do the recording more at my leisure.

But you know what's worse than the sound of lawnmowers?

The sound of leaf blowers.

I've been sitting here for over an hour waiting for there to be some break in the sound of the leaf blowers,

and there has yet to be one.
