Homeland Security Secretary says the two officers who shot and killed Alex Prettie were immediately

put on a paid administrative leave. That's according to an official with direct knowledge of the

situation. The administrative leave was for three days with the option to take additional time off.

The official said the agents have since met with a mental health professional, which is Border Patrol's

standard operating procedure for any employee involved in a fatal incident, just like this one.
