But with a quick warning, I'm about to ramble for 20 minutes about things that have nothing to do with this case, until they suddenly do.

And it's going to be absolutely crazy.

But the following insights reveal the answers to what happened to Joan Risch when she vanished from her comfortable suburban life,

leaving behind nothing more than a trail of blood.

So what I want to do here is start from the beginning, because I think the implications of

Joan's childhood factor very heavily into the events that ultimately occurred on that fateful afternoon in October 1961.

Yet what's so interesting about her childhood is it seems to be shrouded in mystery, almost to the extent of her

disappearance. Which brings me to my first point about this case. And that's the
