Bill St. Pierre has been working on building homes for two families, but he realized that the need was too great and that campers could be used to help more people faster. Bill brought 25 campers, now occupied by 25 families, down to North Carolina.

The organizations Bill is working with desperately need more campers! Unfortunately, many of the people displaced by Hurricane Helene are unable to get much help from FEMA.

0:31.9	my GoFundMe, to build two homes for people. And then I really started seeing the need for these campers. The different
0:38.2	organizations I've been working with down here, the nonprofits, we're just telling me they need
0:41.9	campers, campers, campers. I decided to start maybe buying a couple campers. The money kept coming in,
0:47.3	so the campers kept coming in. I've been down here now. This is my third trip. We left Floyd,
0:52.5	Virginia last Friday with a convoy of 25 campers.
0:56.4	Every single one of those campers is now already set up. So that's 25 people that have a roof over
1:01.3	their heads. They have a shower. They have a small kitchen and beds to sleep in. All the money I've
1:06.1	been raising has gone basically right now at the campers. I'm still saving enough money to build a homes,
1:11.6	but I feel like I haven't even put a den in it.
1:13.6	Yet I have put 25 people in a camper,
1:15.9	so that's making me feel good.
1:17.8	The organizations I'm working with,
1:19.5	they definitely need more campers.
1:21.1	I mean, I brought this one down this morning.
1:23.6	I got a call that these people didn't have a camper.
1:25.9	They lost their home completely.
