Versus 10 and 11, the practice of divination, the interpretation of omens, sorcery, charming,

mediums, wizards, necromancers, again, all of these characters are providing to those

who seek them some sort of revelatory knowledge.

And then it's explained in verse 12, whoever does these

things is an abomination to Yahweh. And because of these abominations, Yahweh your God is

driving them out from before you.

So, guys, last week we covered Deuteronomy 14 through 17.

We had a great conversation.

We talked about justice, and we talked about how the various ways Deuteronomy interacts with and expands upon different chapters in Leviticus and numbers.

We talked about that wonderful passage at the end of Deuteronomy 17, about a king and how that

provides an on-ramp to Jesus. So we made some good progress, and this week we're going to pick

up the pace even more. We're going to cover, Lord willing, I must always say Lord willing, because I might be wrong.

We're going to cover Deuteronomy 18 to 26.

Wow, that's nine chapters, nine chapters.

And there's a lot of repetition in this, so we're not going to cover every little passage of

scripture that is in these nine chapters.
