I'm Mama Jules, and we have a case suggestion from Lexi on Instagram,

who wanted me to cover the Niziah Harris case.

And when I started researching this one, I became so angry, angry that those in Niziah's life didn't protect her more, didn't love her enough to even know where the 13-year-old

Detroit girl was even at or who she was with.

And two weeks ago, on January 9th, we crossed over the one-year

anniversary of Nazia disappearing. On that same day, exactly one year from what prosecutors believe

was a violent and bloody death, Judge Alia Sabree, with Detroit's 36th District District Court called the man that she believes raped,

impregnated, and murdered the 13-year-old, a monster. That man? 42-year-old Jarvis Buts

now will stand trial on murder and sexual assault charges. What was a 42-year-old man doing with a 13-year-old girl?

Well, he has a family connection. See, Jarvis is the father to five children with

Naziah's aunt, Shannon. And Naziah and those five kids, they hung out together, like

cousins do. Naziah was not living with her mother,

which I am presuming is Shannon's sister, but this gets muddy because Niziah's grandmother
