In 2014, the last time we visited Florence,

34% of Italians had never ever used the internet.

No wonder their Wi-Fi is so crappy.

But on the other hand, I want to applaud those 34% of people.

Bravo for surviving without the internet.

You guys are going to think I'm crazy.

Okay, crazier than you already think I am. But one of the things that I love doing when I'm at home is when I pull out my backpack. I love looking at that backpack and realizing that it has been around the world with me and that has so many stories to tell

and just realizing that that piece of fabric that cloth has been around the world

has been my constant travel companion on so many adventures.

And when Heather and I sat down we realized we hadn't been to Italy for the last three and a half years, we were shocked.
