I'm not sure a basketball game sums up the Hubert Davis era at North Carolina better than the one we saw Thursday night in Charlotte.

You saw it in person.

I saw it on TV.

It looked the same altogether. Just it is almost eerie how exactly it is

for the way Hubert Davis's career has gone in Carolina. Tommy, we had this exact conversation

about a year ago after Carolina's lost the Ole Miss in the first round

and thenceola tournament.

They fell behind really 20 points or whatever it was, came storming back,

and did not have enough gas left in the tank,

did not have enough time left on the clock to get it done.

It's a theme.

It's not a trend.

I mean, it's just a fact.

This is something that we have seen time and time and time again.

And it is just mind-boggling to me that you can see a team play with such lethargy and such lack of detail
