I dealt with that breakdown by buying as much music from 2016 as I possibly could, and as a result, I now own over 600 albums that came out in 2016, and I'm convinced it's the greatest year for music of all time. But it's not enough just me being convinced. I also want to convince each and every single one of you.

This week, the album that I've chosen is Palimpsest by Fooniap.

I should have known. chosen is palimpsest by Fooniap.

Fooniap is a classically trained violinist from Calgary.

She'd been in many different kinds of bands before this, indie bands, folk bands, even like vampire rock bands.

But this is a very intricate and fragile folk album.

And this album sums up her entire life so far.
