I'm just going to witter on a little bit more about Dan,

because I remember, gosh, I mean, it must be 25 years ago,

I would guess that he first came onto our screens where he was

creating that amazing pond in his godmother's garden. And normally when the rest of us create a pond,

we sort of dig a little hole and that's it. But with Dan, it was like massive and glamorous and

exciting and wonderful.

And then I also remember walking into the Chelsea Flower Show and almost the opposite

extreme of that, this incredibly beautiful roof garden planted with only three varieties of

ecrovira.

And I remember being completely blown away by that.
