My guest today is Vlad Eric Cheyev.

I said it right, brother. He's a New Jersey-based

multifamily investor who started a privately held Zantic ventures to achieve financial independence.

A Jake and Gino member for just over two years, he now owns hundreds of units with the goal

of having 25,000 units by 2027. Welcome to the show Vlad. How you doing, brother?

I'm doing great. Thank you so much. I'm so honored to be here. Listen, it's an honor for us to have

you here. Listen, let's start off with your journey. I mean, you weren't born in this country. How did you get

to America? Yeah, not at all. I was born in Russia.

And in 1993, 30 years ago, I came here.

And I lived in Brooklyn, New York for 26 years.

I was working as a busboy and then worked at a shoe store.

And then started working in a graphic design business.

That's what I've done for most of my life.

And six years ago, I moved to New Jersey, and North Jersey, to be exact.

And family, kids, is just, I believe, a better place to raise a family here in Jersey. And that's my kind

short appeal about that. So let me ask you, Vlad, how did you get into multifamily? What attracted

you to real estate? You know what? Actually, it was a complete roller coaster. It's like,

picture if you're sleeping and somebody just rips off your sheets and dumps a

bucket of cold water on top of your head. That's exactly how it started. I was a graphic

designer. I had this great job two miles away from me. I used to come home for lunch and then
