This week, we're releasing a remastered version of our episode covering the cases of

0:05.5

Denisto and Christmas Sto, as well as updates on both cases. Both unidentified

0:10.9

decedents were young children found in Georgia. It was their approximate ages and their

0:16.0

circumstances that struck a chord with our listeners. Of all our cases, Denist and Christmas Sto

0:23.0

are the two we hear about the most, from listeners who want to know if either case has seen any

0:28.6

movement. In this episode, originally released in 2019, you'll hear why listeners were so moved

0:35.5

by the story of a toddler found in the rural woods of Weir County in 1988 near Christmas time

0:42.7

and a pre-adolescent boy discovered into Cab County in a cemetery in 1999. But first, we want to

0:50.6

provide updates on both cases. We contacted Special Agent in Charge Mark Pro of the GBI's region

0:57.6

for office to ask for updates in Christmas Sto's case. He let us know that they had no new developments

1:04.3

to share regarding her case other than the information that a new agent has been assigned.

1:10.0

We did become aware that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,

1:14.4

Nick Mac recently recirculated Christmas Sto's forensic art. It was on social media this June

1:21.0

and garnered thousands of comments and shares. We can only hope that someone somewhere

1:27.3

sees it and recognizes her. As for Dennis Sto, huge news has come in his case. When we contacted the

1:36.0

DeCab Medical Examiner's office back in May to inquire for updates for this episode, we were sent

1:42.3

to Director Patrick Bailey. Via email exchange, Director Bailey let us know that Dennis's DNA was

1:49.0

being processed at what he described as the FBI's lab and that an identification was imminent.

1:56.4

He couldn't give us a precise date of that information's release at that time, but on July 13,

2:03.2

2022, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released the following information.

2:10.3

The child formerly known as Dennis Sto found deceased in 1999 was six-year-old William Dishon Hamilton

2:19.1

of Charlotte, North Carolina. William's case was not solved through genetic genealogy,
