It was never going to be an easy job for anyone to follow in the footsteps of the great Ridley Scott,

and particularly with a film that has become one of the most revered in movie history

and characters that embody the word iconic.

I think the only person who could not only live up to the expectation, but also deliver something that is truly beautiful, matches, if not exceeds the original, is Denisov.

Now, I came late to his talents with the 2013 film Prisoners, a hugely underrated film laden with incredible performances from the likes of Jake Gyllenhaul,
