When it comes to the new birth, you need to look at three things.

The problem, the perspective, and the purpose.

The purpose. And here to look at those three items today with us is author Demery Green.

Thank you. It is certainly good to be here.

And we're going to talk about those three items.

Problem, perspective, and purpose concerning the new birth.

The new birth is really right at the center of our Christian experience.

And it's your contention in your book, and by the way the title of his book

is crippled Christianity. With a subtitle, don't want to miss the subtitle, the last church

age revelation. You do have a revelation in your book and it has to do with the new birth.

Let's just start there.

And as you said, that is our central thing.

Now Jesus had a way of really getting to the root of questions.

Yeah.

And when he came, everybody was looking for one thing,

and he told them, you must be born again.

That's the bottom line of all of our history, a bottom line of creation, the bottom line of salvation. And his audience there, of course, said, how can this be?

And that's the question that has been asked for a long time. In fact, I like to point people

to Paul's characterization of it. In Ephesians 390, he said his entire purpose was to make men

see what is the fellowship of the mystery.

Wow. Yeah, and then the mystery as you present it has to do with the new birth.
