Hello from Greater Washington. I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast last night.

It was another primary night in many states across America. The results, well, they're still

coming in because we just got the New York primary results coming in and that was not last

night. But it is another reminder that we are not going to have election day in November.

We are going to have election week if we're lucky, an election month, and then some, if

you particularly if you care about who controls the Senate. But here's what we do know.

Senator Republicans are breathing a sigh of relief this morning with Republican Roger Marshall

beat controversial former Kansas Secretary of State Chris Cobach in that Senate primary

in Kansas. In Michigan, we got a long way to go to find out what's going on there. Congress

woman and charter member of the squad were shooting to lead. Currently maintains a lead

against her Detroit rival, a former member of Congress technically Brenda Jones to lead

beat Jones by only a percentage point 18. And the results, we got a long way to go right

now. It looks like to leave way ahead. But I think one of my guests here will be able

to tell us how much how much more boat we have to see before we can feel confident of of

to leave chances for re nomination. But then I didn't end without a bit of a surprise

in St. Louis, Democrat way in Lacey Clay, Jr. lost his primary to progressive candidate

Cory Bush, Bush Jones Clay and 18 was supported by the Justice Democrats, basically the AOC

folks, Alejandro Acasio Cortez and her group. For what it's worth, Clay or his father

has not represented that district since that's 60s. That's what kind of monumental defeat

that is for local singles politics. So to talk about all of what we've learned, we've
