as Senate Democrats are gearing up to take on voting rights.

President Biden kicked off the week with a focus on the meat packing industry as prices

have been soaring.

So what will it be?

Kitchen table issues or the progressive agenda?

Gov it or saving the democracy, how do you focus a message in a campaign year unlike any

other with me today's guy Cecil?

He's chairman of the largest Democratic Party Super PAC priorities USA and at this point

is an expert in what Democratic voters care about or at least sees a lot more research

than I do.

So let's start with this and I look we have a newsroom dilemma every day.

The single most important issue in the next five years feels like it's the democracy.

But voters don't always vote on what are the existential threats over the next five years.

They think about hey what's the price of chicken and why is it and I'm not mocking this.

And I think it's a real challenge.

You know I there was an anonymous Democratic operative who told one of my colleagues my

biggest fear is we're going to be talking about the democracy and the Republicans are

going to be talking about the price of groceries and we're going to lose that fight.
