60 years after President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare and Medicaid into law,

Republicans are cutting $1 trillion from Medicaid over the next decade.

17 million Americans could lose their health insurance

overall. One estimate projects 51,000 people will die each year as a result of the cuts.

We'll speak to Aijun Poo. She just organized a 60-hour Medicaid vigil.

This month also marks 35 years since the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We'll speak to the head of the American Association of People with Disabilities about the devastating

effects of cuts to Medicaid, then to Gaza, as seven more Palestinians starved to death

in the last day.
