In a major policy shift, President Trump orders the end of U.S. sanctions on Syria and meets with Syria's

new president. The meeting in Saudi Arabia came a day after the

U.S. and Saudi Arabia signed a new $142 billion arms deal. As Trump lands in Qatar on his next stop,

we'll look at Trump's trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

President Trump's trip to the Middle East is really about one thing, money, whether it's about

securing weapons deals and trade deals for the United States, whether it's securing a

$400 million plane for his personal use, whether it's about making clear that the Gulf states

can depend on the United States so long as they're buying from the United States.

We'll speak to Sarah Lee Whitson of Don and Ackshachid Ahmed of Huff Post.
