The strike is sympathy for our people in the north.

It feels difficult to us for every martyr and every child who falls.

What is required from us is that we sympathize with our brothers because the faithful are our brothers.

What happened in the north is a little thing in front of what happened in Gaza.

In Gaza they are 34,000 martyrs or more.

Palestinians across the West Bank held a general strike Sunday

to protest an Israeli military aid on a raid on a refugee camp that killed at least 14 people and left

the camp uninhabitable. We'll go to Ramallah for an update from

Palestinian journalist Mariam Marguti.

And we'll get an update from the Gaza Solidarity Encampment

at Columbia University, which has reached its sixth day

and has inspired Solidarityments on campuses across the country.

We'll speak with a Palestinian-Jordanian journalist and journalism student at Columbia University as well as Columbia

professor who addressed the encampment, Mahmoud Mamdani. Classes are

being held remotely today.

The most striking thing about the encampment

was that it was a peaceful demonstration by students. And yet it was met by police wielding guns

smack

threatening violence.

Then President Biden signed legislation to reauthorize Section 702 of FISA.
