writing in American Greatness about the extremely unhappy left and the extremely

unhappy right.

The unhappy left leaves the world is coming to an end with democracy.

I do not exaggerate that the election of Donald Trump will mean not only at the end of democracy but

horrors that we associate with the 20th century. The unhappy right believes what we're facing right now is revolution and what we need is a renovation,

a reawakening of the concepts of the

government that are inherited from 200 years ago.

Both visions are unhappy, profoundly unhappy.

And I welcome Thaddeus McCotter who has observed this in his

column. That is, you identify a remarks by Ronald Reagan as a way of solving this dilemma between the right and the left, especially

the right, which is of interest to us because we're Republicans.

What is it in Reagan's remarks from the 20th century that can help the unhappy right?

Well, the piece was written because, as you rightly pointed out, the Democrats

are quite fond of saying that if this election goes to Donald Trump, somehow we will be electing

Hitler. A lot of Republicans on the other hand say that if we elect Mr. Biden or a Democrat, we will be electing Stalin.

Both sides seem to believe that the future, the fate of this country, this republic,

hinges upon the outcome of the election,

and that if one side of the other wins,

half the country will believe that our republic and our democracy

is over.
