Summary

Richard Allen is accused of murdering of murdering 14 year old Libby German and 13 year old Abigail Williams in Delphi, Indiana on February 13, 2017. Today was the last day in a three days of hearings where Mr. Allen’s defense made several motions including the request to block any mention of sixty one confessions Mr. Allen made while incarcerated and awaiting trial.

1:57.7	From New York City, Roberta Glass is now on the record. Okay. How is everybody? Going to talk a little bit today about the Delphi murders and Richard Allen's hearing, which is still going on.
2:02.4	And today was the end of a three-day hearing, hearing in his case.
2:12.8	And the defense is throwing basically everything at the prosecution to get out the 61.
2:15.1	That's right.
2:23.3	You heard me for those in the back, 61 confessions he's made since being in prison. And he is in prison. They're trying to move him to jail. And the state doesn't seem to be, the jail doesn't seem to be opposed to that.
2:35.6	I'm not sure about the state.
2:37.7	But he was put in there because he was put there on watch because they thought he might end it all.
2:45.3	And during his time, he confessed, as you heard in the opening, to prison guards, to fellow inmates, and to a prison psychologist, also to his wife on the phone, and to his mother on the phone.
3:04.6	And the prison psychologist is really helping him out.
