So I think there's a general myth out there

that there simply isn't that much difference between the Democrat and the Republican Party.

From a policy perspective, maybe a lot of difference in personalities and temperament and rhetoric.

But I get the sense.

I'm generalizing here.

I realize I could get a lot of messages that say,

of course we know the difference.

But there's a general sense of this, especially in maybe more moderate circles,

that there's not going to be vast policy differences,

whether you elect Democrats or Republicans.

And I think at certain points in history that's been more true than other times in history.

And I would say it could not be less true now.

And that's what I want to talk about.
