Where do you start when everything feels so different?

Where do you start when most everyone around the situation is different?

Where do you start when you kind of want to talk about every aspect of what you just saw?

The real time of this season opener, a Michigan dominant win over Cleveland State,

and the aftermath of it reminds me of when I'm really busy, which, hey, the month of

November in college sports, there's a lot going on. It's a busy time. I'm a to-do list person.

I feel like I have to write things down, not just from an organizational standpoint,

but just to remember all the things that are needed in a certain day, week, month, all of it.

This was a game where it would have been beneficial for me to write down as much as I could have,

but the frantic pace made it difficult.

This was other than what, the first six, seven minutes of the game where there were a ton of whistles,

I mean a ton of whistles.

This game played in a pace that we just have not seen from Michigan in a long, long time.

And when you look at the aspects of this game that are easy to miss, because you jump out and you say, hey, first time since December of 2021, Michigan scored more than 100 points.

They only did it once last year was in double overtime.

Then you think about the fact they were 68.4% from the floor.

That's the second best field goal percentage for a game in Michigan men's basketball history.

Since Terry Mills, my broadcast partner, was a freshman.

So you have all that, and then the fact that Michigan played everybody,

other than the two who were out from this one, Rubin Jones and Justin Pippen, six in

double figures. No one missed more than four shot attempts. So all of that offensively is

amazing and incredible, and Dusty Mays talked about the style of play that he wants.
