Trey Jackson's college journey has had its ups and downs, but I can't even imagine what was going

through his mind back on November 16th of 2021. Now, that day, if you recall, did not end well for

Michigan fans. Well, for almost all Michigan fans. You see, there were some Michigan fans at

Chrysler Center on that November the 16th, who were in a unique spot,

cheering for the road team.

That's because Trey Jackson, Detroit native, Michigan fans since his childhood, he was a

Seton Hall pirate coming into that one.

Rewind a little bit.

For Jackson, this was his third year in college basketball.

The first two did not go according to plans.

His freshman year, Jackson, played about 200 total minutes for Missouri. Lerickson. his third year in college basketball. The first two did not go according to plans.

Then Jackson transferred to Seton Hall and spent almost all of that bubble year on the bench.

He played just three games. So here was Trey Jackson playing significant

minutes in front of a legitimate college basketball crowd for the first time in his career.

And it was at the outset of his third season. And here he was, of all places, at Chrysler Center,

one where some of the players he looked up to as a kid had played in

seasons past. In a bit, Jackson will tell us about that night when he played 24 minutes,

the most of his college career to that point. When he scored 13 points, one shy of a career high,

and was a perfect three of three from deep, and when Seton Hall knocked off the fourth-ranked

Wolverines by two.

That jump started, Trey Jackson's best individual college season to this point.
