Deep Sleep Meditation - Healing and Self-Love.
Welcome to this meditation I’ve written for self-healing and self-love. Its purpose is to remind your body and mind of its natural abilities to heal itself.
The idea is that to give ourselves time to heal, our body and mind need some peace and quiet to regenerate. If you are in a constant rush, always active, tensed and never completely relaxed and tranquil, your body and mind can't repair itself. That's why meditation is the perfect way to enable self-healing.
We’re now beginning to realise the power of the mind to heal, and you just need to look at clinical studies on medication where people taking a placebo often feel better as it’s the power of their mind making them experience positive results.
Even for me, getting time to relax is something that I really struggle with. Giving myself the time to relax and calm is so important. It can really help my body heal. Relaxation and sleep are so important for the regeneration of the body. I have had a couple of recent injuries and I notice the more I relax and the less stress I have in my life, my inflammation and pain improves.
Your busy mind needs to be calmed so its natural processes can go on undisturbed.
In this meditation, we'll do all that is needed to remind your body of how to heal itself and everything to allow it to do that. You will learn how to relax the whole body, calm your mind, slow and deepen your breathing, show appreciation and love to your body, and remind it of its natural powers.
For the best results, I recommend you do it as often as possible. Being restful and calm is always beneficial.
