Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, happy almost new years. This is Sally Clarkson and I'm so glad you joined

me tonight. Or today it's night my time. I'm sitting here. I replace some of my Christmas

stuff with some really pretty very inexpensive gorgeous kind of apricot-ish kind of orange

ish red roses that are looking pretty. I'm sure you're probably like me in the process

of slowly working down from the holiday scenes to to your normal house. We are beginning

to unravel our things because I had 10 people for five days of food, of cookies, of mugs,

of eating, laughing, making messes, toys. And it was really a lot of fun. But by the time

everybody left everything is so discombobulated. And I the small we live in a smaller house

than we do in America. And 10 is a lot of people for here. So I'm just slowly getting back

on my horse. And I know if you're like me, you expend a lot of adrenaline over the holidays.

And so I'm looking forward to getting my life back in order and just doing some of the

normal things. But I sure do love my precious ones. We had a whole whole whole lot of fun.

And so anyway, we do things a little bit differently here. And as is probably everybody

wherever you live, you have your own cultural traditions. And usually I make this huge,

huge batch of fried chicken. But I don't have the same equipment here. I don't have the

same big skillets. And so this year we had so much fun on Christmas night. We had sticky

toffee pudding, which we have every year for our tea time on Christmas afternoon after

we'd opened all the presents and gone through all the stockings and all the restaurants
