forever ago but remember the chargers weren't supposed to take Joe Walt.

Remember they were going to take J.C. Latham that was the all all the guys with the mocks all you know all the guys were

telling me you know the the people in the know they've got Latham to the chargers

that's the smart money and I was telling Cody and Alex Dunlap I was like guys

please don't do that that doesn't make any sense there's no way that's not smoke

just take the who if you're Jim Harbah who would you draft it's that simple it's that simple and it's also

who I would have, right? It's who I would have drafted at four.

If I were the Cardinals, I would have drafted Joe Alt. I think Joe Alt's more valuable

at any wide receiver. So that's my position on it and then I think we can go down the board and say that

the chargers had a pretty good draft. I loved what the chargers did in terms of value per pick where yes they desperately needed wide receiver but they also

highlighted that this was a really valuable mid wide receiver class where wide receiver

7 through 15 were much better than they usually are.

And so they did the wise thing, take Joe Alt at 5, and then they came back and they got away with it. Why? Because they got lad McConkey in round two.
