Hello good friends, the last show probably got many of you really worked up

because I challenged as accurate a tradition in the body of Christ about knowing God's will

and it's a tradition that is widely accepted

and what I worked hard to demonstrate was that this tradition that we've all received

simply could not be found in Scripture.

Now in today's show I want to share with you what is taught in Scripture

and is also modeled by the disciples to help put you on solid biblical ground

when you make the important decisions of your life.

So here it is round two of decision making and the will of God.

In our last session I gave you something to think about

if your reaction is like a lot of folks that I've talked to in the past about this

it was a painful thought I suspect

and I understand that there are certain things that we have grown up with as Christians

that we're very attached to and sometimes it's emotionally difficult to challenge

or to question those things.

And this is why my goal was to try to lay as accurately as I could a plan out

that is a conventional approach and then look at the pieces under the light of Scripture

and see whether the verses supporting the plan actually did the job.

I'm deeply convinced that they don't and that the plan that many people follow

is for in the Scripture.
